

On Friday, June 22, 2012 she died peacefully at her home in Arlington, Virginia, of heart failure. Born in Dairen, Manchuria China, 1924 to Maria and Ivan Larioff. Attended British and French schools there with her sister, the late Marina Stafatos, of San Francisco, CA. Met her husband, Navy Pilot, Captain Ernest H. Giusti of Squadron VMSB 331 in Tsingtao, China 1945.
Graduated from George Washington University in the 1950’s and raised 2 children in Arlington with her husband through to the mid 1970’s. Received an MS in Library Science from Catholic University, and was employed as a librarian in the Shared Cataloging Division/Slavic Section of the U.S. Library of Congress from the early 1970’s to 1986. A son Stephen passed away in 2002. She is survived by her daughter Jessica Strother and her granddaughter Stephanie Strother both of Fairfax County, Virginia, a cousin Victoria Beresford of Queensland Australia, and in-laws of Portsmouth, NH, Middletown, Connecticut, Lawrence, and Andover Massachusetts.
