Richard Leverone, age 89, of Arlington, VA, passed away on February 19, 2026, in the comfort of his home. Born in Oakland, CA. Survived by his wife, Helen, of 62 years, son, Thomas (Sheila), daughter, Joanie (preceded in death by husband, Kenn), and seven grandchildren, Shaeleigh, Chance, YiLin, Meagan, Brendan, Kyle, and Maura. Worked for the government at the Office of Personnel Management. He enjoyed playing tennis, pickle ball, chess and spending time with his many friends and family.
In addition, he loved to read, plant trees, and eat chocolate donuts. He had a generous heart and a great sense of humor. A mass will be held on Tuesday, March 3, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Ann Catholic Church at 5300 N 10th Street, Arlington, VA. A reception to immediately follow at St. Ann.
