To Brenda,
I just learn of Ron's passing and was deeply saddened.  As I reflect on the many years we were in the office together and the delivery of flowers showing his affection for you, I feel as if I was blessed to vicariously know him through you.  In fact, his love for you was evident each and every day to those close to you.  Please find comfort in the fact that he is in a better place (looking down on the love of his life--YOU) and those near and dear to him.  God bless you from my entire family in northern VA.

I still think of Ron often. He was outside my window almost every day, almost every type of weather, throughout the year, on the Oakwood tennis court.  I used to joke with him that my boss, clients, mother and friends could here him when I talked on the phone.  He'd be calling out whenever a student kept repeating a successful shot, "Riiiight. Riiiight."  If I stepped out on my balcony, he called up to say hello.  He knew I was working on Brian Moran's campaign and he told me about teaching his wife, Karyn.  He commented on my balcony decorations.  We'd talk and laugh when I ran into him in the courtyard or a store.  He was always cheerful.  He was always laughing.  He was always kind.  

I wish we knew something about what happened because we'd like to do what we could to prevent something similar happening to someone else.  If you would like to contact me, you may do so through the Oakwood Office, 703-534-7702.

I believe he is in Heaven.  He, I am sure, hovers over you and in you.  For me, he keeps batting the tennis ball outside and letting me know happy thoughts and a smile are there.

I was a tennis student of yours for years, and I only wish I could have gotten to know you again for the last couple of years. It was because of you that I realized my love for tennis and I'll always think of you whenever I play.

Brenda, I just learned last week of Rons passing. He was a great human being, tennis coach and friend and I will miss him immensely.  I am sure his soul is in peace and may god bless you.

I am always praying for you and Ron, always. I want to let you know that Ron touched all of our lives. We knew him our entire lives. He has been a part of our family for a very long time and will always be in our hearts. He taught me to always do my best in everything I do and also taught me quiet a bit about being a great tennis player from a very young age. I'm sure that had a hand in helping get me the 1st seed in tennis at PHS. He was very loving and caring to all of his family here in Pound and we will miss him. It is great comfort to know how he loved you and how he cherished time with you. The kind of love you had for each other was rare and very hard to find. I just want you to know we love you and are always here for you. We love you so very much!

The Celestino family is heartbroken, especially our sons, Ben and Sam, who enjoyed many years of tennis lessons and camps with Ron. He was a wonderful mentor and friend. I especially loved how after particularly good lessons he would have Ben loosen up his right wrist to practice giving autographs. We hope you are comforted by knowing how many lives he touched and inspired. We will miss him dearly.

July 29th.
I was so deeply saddened by the death of Coach Ron. He was an amazing man and a great coach. He taught me and both my kids who got interested in tennis because of him. He had cute names for all the kids and my kids loved him like a relative. I am sure going to miss him at Panera. Our prayers are with his family. God bless him!

I too was deeply saddened upon learning of Ron's passing. My thoughts and prayers are with Brenda and Ron's family and friends during this difficult time. Ron was an extraordinary soul. I will truly miss our Saturday conversations and sessions on the tennis courts. It was a privilege to have known him and he will not soon be forgotten.

Words really cannot express my shock and sadness over Ron's passing.  My deepest condolences to his family and friends.  May in time you find comfort in the fact that he meant so much, and brought so much joy to so many people.  RIP, Ron.  You will be missed.

I just learned of Ron's passing today, the 26th, when in California.  He was not just a great coach and great human being, but a mentor and role model.  He loved his country, his tennis, and Brenda.  I only met her briefly once at Oakwood, but I do extend my condolences.  She is fortunate to have had him so long.  He touched us all and made us better.

I know that Ron is with his brother and father right now in heaven, at peace and surrounded by God's love.I will miss his smile, his laughter, and his kindness.

I was so saddened to learn of Ron's passing. He was very good man and he will be missed in the tennis community. I enjoyed working with him, and will miss him very much. Our prayers go out to Brenda and his family.
