Sandra Overstreet Fink

The beautiful soul of Sandra Overstreet Fink entered Heaven on June 24, 2024, to be with her Lord and Savior and to be reunited with Herman Fink, her loving and devoted husband of 53 years. She was also reunited with her mother, whom she loved and adored, Louise “Tootsie” Brock Overstreet; her father, Fred Overstreet; brother, Butch Overstreet; and her sister Carolyn Overstreet.

Sandra is survived by her loving and unwavering dedicated daughter, Kimberly Knapp, who affectionately called her “Mommy,” and her husband, Paul Knapp. In addition to Kim and Paul, she is also survived by many relatives and long-time friends.

Sandra was born in Roanoke, Virginia, on June 25, 1946. She spent most of her life as a Fairfax and Centreville, Virginia resident. To know her was a blessing, but to love and be loved by her was simply one of God’s greatest gifts, and we thank Him for that.

When Sandra held a special place in her heart, you knew and felt it. Spending time with her was special. She had a laugh and a smile that drew you in and will not be forgotten. She loved music, dancing, her cat FiFi, and supporting and encouraging the ones she loved.

Although we no longer have her earthly presence, we take great comfort in knowing she has brightened Heaven even more and has the promise of eternal peace and continued happiness.

Sandra, you are so missed and loved, always and forever, until we reunite with you again.

A Celebration of Life will be held for Sandra by invitation only on Saturday, August 17, 2024 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Murphy Funeral Home located at 4510 Wilson Blvd Arlington, VA 22203.
