Victoria Ann Baysinger

Victoria Ann “Vicki” Baysinger was born on October 26, 1955, in Corona, California to Doris L. York and Charles E. Baysinger. She departed this life on Tuesday, April 20, 2021 in Arlington, Virginia. She is survived by her children Charles Oteyza and Nikki Oteyza, grandchildren Tristan, Tala, Juliette, and Dylan, her brother David Baysinger, and stepmother Julia Baysinger. She is preceded in death by her parents and brother, Charles E. Baysinger, Jr. Vicki’s pride and joy were her beloved kids and grandbabies, and her family at JVs Restaurant, where she worked for the last 8 years. But to her it was never work - at JVs, she enjoyed the thrills of live music and dancing, great company, and opportunities to support important organizations through fundraising and events. Her fun-loving nature, spontaneous energy, and mischievous laughter were infectious and inviting. She was confident, loyal, and fierce – the kind of woman you wanted on your side, and the kind of mother who could always be relied on for love, support, and friendship. No public services are being held at this time. Please feel free to celebrate Vicki’s life and honor her in a way that is personal to you. She touched so many lives in so many magnificent ways; trying to memorialize such an amazing woman in a single event is simply not possible. Her life will be celebrated always. In lieu of flowers, please consider placing a donation with one of the many organizations Vicki supported such as the American Cancer Society, Building Veterans, or the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention. Vicki’s family would like to thank the generous hospital and nursing staff who helped her during her medical hardships, as well as her wonderful friends who continued to reach out and pray for her along the way.
