Virginia R. Moss

Virginia Randolph Moss, beloved wife and mother, passed away on September 12th, 2021. She is survived by husband Sedgwick L Moss, sister Jean Harrington, daughters Sally and Ginger Moss, son-in-law Jamie Crausman, and grandchildren Adam and Jay Crausman. Virginia was born on March 16, 1931 in Charlotte NC and raised in Raleigh by her parents Charles and Virginia Gilliam. She attended St Mary’s Junior College in Raleigh, graduating in 1951, and then graduated from the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill in 1953. She was an English teacher, Substitute Teacher and Library Assistant with Arlington County Schools. She was an active member of Trinity Episcopal Church in Arlington for over 50 years, and enjoyed traveling with family both nationally and internationally. Virginia had a beautiful smile and a great sense of humor. A graveside funeral will be held at Columbia Gardens Cemetery in Arlington. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Wakefield High School Education Foundation, PO Box 41675, Arlington, VA 22204.
