Wanda Isadora Pever

Wanda Pever, 86, of Dunkirk, MD passed away on Friday, January 5, 2018. She is a native of Martinsburg, WV, and lived a full and fruitful life. Wanda worked as a resident manager for the BF Saul company for 25 years, before continuing her life's work with the CCNPP. She finally retired in 1998. Wanda was known for her care for others in the community as well as being an avid painter of ceramics. She is survived by her loving & caring husband of 49 years, George Pever. She is survived by her son Dean Keller & his companion Mercedes Braithwaite; Grand-Daughter Jackie Deelaney & husband Jason & her Great-Grandson Drake “Cletus” Deelaney; Daughter In-Laws, Vickie J Bowen & husband Danny, Valeri J Matthews & husband Robert; Grandsons, Jacob, Chad & Chase; by her Aunt Eva & her cousins Chip Lickey & Shirley Nye & Step Grandson Ryan Clark, and many devoted friends. The family will receive friends at Murphy Funeral Home, 4510 Wilson Blvd. Arlington, VA on Saturday January 13, 2018 from 11:00 am - 1:00 pm. A service will follow in the Murphy Chapel at 1:00 pm. Internment will be held at National Memorial Park, Falls Church, VA. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in honor of Wanda to a charity of your choice.
