William Shawn McCabe

He was born August 19, 1961 in Washington, DC. He was preceded in death by his parents, Mathew Mark McCabe and Dorothy Smith McCabe., brother Mathew Mark McCabe Jr., sisters Ivy Ann Bauer and Patricia Sue McCabe. Survivors are sisters Sandra Faye Novak and Dawn Elizabeth McCabe. Sister-in-Law Patsy Ann McCabe, Brothers-in-Law Theodore Bauer and Joseph Novak. Shawn graduated from D. J. O'Connell Catholic High School. His specialty was security and provided security for Marriott for 25 years. He was also employed by U. S. Army as security specialist. The many awards he received attest to excellence on the job.

Shawn enjoyed listening to country music and taking great care of his vehicles, including celebrating their birthdays (date of assembly).

A visitation will be held Saturday, September 6, 10:00 AM until 12:00 noon at the Murphy Funeral Home 4510 Wilson Blvd, Arlington, VA 22203. Burial of his ashes will follow the visitation at National Memorial Park Cemetery, 7842 Lee Highway, Falls Church, Virginia 22042.
