On October 2, 2014 in Alexandria, VA, William O. Moose, Arlington County firefighter (retired), entered into eternal rest. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife Janet. Preceded in death by his sister Barbara O’Toole, he is survived by his sisters Margaret Williams and Debra Soffos and brothers Joseph and Carroll and a host of relatives and friends. He is a recipient of the Medal of Valor and has acted as Arlington’s METRO Liaison Officer. There will be a memorial gathering at Murphy Arlington Funeral Home (703) 920-4800 on October 21, 2014 from 2 – 4 pm and 6 – 8 pm. Funeral at a later date at Arlington National Cemetery.
