

Bill died at home on March 13, 2026, at the age of 87, surrounded by his loving family. Born in Alexandria, Virginia, Bill spent his childhood in Arlington where he graduated from Washington and Lee High School. He then attended George Washington University where he joined Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity.
Bill spent his business career as a banker, starting as a teller at First Virginia Bank, and eventually becoming president of Allegiance Bank in Maryland. Bill ended his banking career as Chief Financial Officer of Eagle Bank. He was a member of Washington Golf and Country Club where he enjoyed playing golf and bridge.
Above all, Bill was a devoted family man. He is survived by his loving wife, Claire, and his daughters, Jean Conn (Jeff), Mary Beth Walmsley (Kevin), and stepsons David Frisk (Catharine) and Michael Frisk, his nine grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Bill was a kind, generous, and highly principled man, a role model for all of us. His was a life well lived. We were honored to share his life with him.
A service will be held Saturday, April 25, 2026 at Cherrydale United Methodist Church, Arlington VA. 1:00 pm Visitation, 2:00 pm Funeral Service followed by Burial at National Memorial Park
