He was born December 3, 1946 in McMinnville, Oregon to Harrison and Lillian DeVoe.
Doug enjoyed watching eagles and collecting souvenirs of eagles. He had collected many hand-crafted from driftwood. Doug also enjoyed spending time on the Oregon Coast every year.
He retired from Safeway after 20 years and then worked as maintenance manager of the Summer Hill Apartments for 20 years.
Doug was preceded by death by his parents and his daughter, Jennifer.
He is survived by his brother and sister-in-law, David and Patty DeVoe of Darrington, Washington; two nephews, David DeVoe and Scott (Ann) Bauer; and two dear friends, Rita and Tracy.
The family extends a special thanks to Enumclaw Rehab and Franciscan Hospice for the loving care they provided in Doug’s final days.
