Edgar Lee Holland

Edgar “Ed” Lee Holland (Pop), 80, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by his loving family, on November 24, 2011. Ed was born to Edgar T. and Mabel Holland April 3, 1931 in Stockton, NY. Following the death of his parents he came to Arlington, WA, where he was raised by his grandparents. Ed attended the Arlington public schools, after which he served in the U.S. Army. He was an avid sportsman, from fishing to his favorite Husky football. “Go Huskies” Ed leaves behind his wife of 60 year, Beverly Holland; daughters, Jody (Gary) Malean, Peggy (Buzz) Grable, Susie (Tim) Garton, Stephani (Rodney) Brower; honorary kids, Dave Jennings and Vicki Feaster; 9 grandkids, 14 greats and numerous family and friends. A celebration of Ed’s life will be held Saturday, December 10, 2011, 1:00 p.m. at Weller Funeral Home, 327 N. MacLeod Ave., Arlington, WA 98223.
