Harvey Allen Haresty and Dorothy Yvonne Hardesty were married in 1952, in Carrolton, Ohio. They lived there for a short amount of time, and then returned to Harvey’s hometown in Washington State, where they both worked for the Boeing Aircraft Company. In 1971, Boeing began their layoffs. Harvey and Dorothy took their four daughters: Elaine, Eileen, Pam and Kim to Florida. This is where Harvey became a senior accountant for Walt Disney World, and Dorothy worked at Super X as a pharmacy technician. In 1978, they returned to Washington State and Boeing, where they worked until they both retired.
