Jim and I worked together at Miller Shingle Company in the late 80's and early 90's. I have good memories of that time. One time when I was broke after we were shut down during a bad fire season he brought me lunch. Jim was a good man and a good teacher. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family.

I worked with jim , when we logged for cliff tungate, what a hella of a man, and what an great outdoorsman, it was a privilage knowing him

Carmel,Troy, Treena,and Jamie, my heart goes out to you all . Its hard to find the right words to say at this time of great loss. My thoughts and prayers are with you. Jim will never be forgotten. Some of my earliest childhood memories are of time spent with you all at Lk Cavanaugh. Uncle Jim's big white Ford truck with Jim Croche playing on the 8 track. Riding the rails through Oso, fishing,hunting, clam digging on Camano Island. The list goes on....all fond memories.  It brings me peace to know that we will see him again someday.i hope you all find comfort in the memories you share. my deepest simpathy, Dawna.

Dear Uncle Jim I am so sad you had to go. Thank you for the many memories we will all miss you so. To my Dear Aunt and Cousins my heart breaks for all of you. I pray God gives you strength forever when you all feel blue. Psalm 31:9. Love to you all, I am here for all of you. Barb

Jim and I came to work at Miller Shingle about the same time. He was such a hard worker and a pleasure to be around. He will be missed by all.  So sorry for your great loss.
