Janet Marie West

Janet Marie Johnson West passed away peacefully on Monday, May 11th, surrounded by friends and family. Janet was born on August 24th, 1945 to Faye & Stanley Johnson of Arlington, WA. She lived life fully and enjoyed golfing, traveling and many other activities usually in the company of her close knit group of friends. She was a member of Faith Lutheran Church in Lakewood.

Janet spent much of her career working in the communications department at Providence Medical Center in Everett, WA, beginning in March of 1981 as a switchboard operator and retiring in March 2009 as Manager of the department. Janet was a dedicated employee and had a special connection to many of the staff at Providence as they cared for her close family members through critical illness.

Janet is survived by two sons; Tim West(Sherry) and Jeff West(Joe), both of Arlington.

She was preceded in death by her Husband Clinton West in 1992, and Partner Harry Koch in 2020. She was also preceded in death by her son; Benjamin West, her parents, Sister Susan Mccarty, and numerous Aunts and Uncles.

A memorial service will be held in Janet's honor on June 20, 2026 at 1:00pm at Faith Lutheran Church; 1424 172nd St NE, Marysville, WA.
