

In loving remembrance of Laughy ("Mac") MacNeill. Born January 12th, 1921 in Wasaga Beach, Ontario Canada. Born again February 2nd, 1943 while serving in the Canadian military. Laughy went home to be with his Lord and Savior peacefully on January 30th, 2012 while at home with his wife Mary. Laughy, born into a family of 15 children, left home at the age of 15 and travelled over 1200 miles on trains from town to town with his brother during the Great Depression of the 1930's looking for food and work. He joined the Canadian army in June of 1940, spending a total of 5 years in active duty during World War II, including the great battle at the Beaches of Normandy. Laughy married Velma Blackmere in March 1941. They were happily married until Velma passed away in 1980 from complications of a heart attack. Laughy married Mary Chambers on July 16th, 1981. Laughy and Mary lived in California for 15 years where Laughy worked as a salesman for both Coast Knives and the Fairfield Company. In September 1996 they moved to Marysville, WA where they were respected and deeply loved members of the Shoultes Gospel Hall Christian assembly. Laughy continued to work as a salesman for Coast Knives until his passing. Laughy was preceded in death by his parents, his-frst wife Velma, and his youngest daughter Ruth Buckalew. He leaves behind his two children, son Tim MacNeill and daughter Betty George, both of Hemet, California. He also leaves 7 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. Laughy will be greatly missed.
