Ruth Marie Dinwiddie

Ruth Dinwiddie, 90, passed away peacefully at home on January 5th, 2024 surrounded by her loving family. Born on December 31, 1933, Ruth lived a full and vibrant life and touched many lives from the beginning to the end. She loved to laugh and always had a smile on her face.

Ruth married her husband, Bobby Dinwiddie, in 1950. She worked many waitress jobs before purchasing her first business, A & W drive-in. Later she owned Ruth’s Drive-in, Ruth’s Café, Ruths Catering Trucks and Ruth’s Catering Kitchen. In her later years, she retired from the dietary department of Cascade Hospital.

She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 62 years, Bobby Dinwiddie and her mother and father, John and Mary Conyer of Safford, Arizona. Also preceding Ruth in death are 8 of her 9 siblings: Jack, Bud, Boots, Don, Doyle, Nona, Wanda, and Glenda.

Ruth loved her family dearly and is survived by her 3 daughters, Debra Finch, Janice Ekman (Mark) and Sherion Roe (Stan). She has seven grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren all of whom she adored.

Memorial Service will be held on January 12th, 2024 at Weller Funeral Home at 4 pm.
