Bill lived his entire life on the Jordan Road. He was born on the same homestead as when he passed away. He had a love for his family, the land and animals.
As a young boy he worked along side his Grandfather Eliason and uncles. He came from a family of loggers, was a logger, and loved to reminisce about the history, the people and his experiences.
He was a veteran of WWII and served as a medic.
Bill is survived by his wife of 69 years, Eldeen, sons Lyle (Lanetta), Alan (Peggy), daughter Nancy, 10 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren. He also leaves behind his sister Marilyn, plus a large community of extended family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Ruth Lundberg and twin grandsons.
Graveside services will be held at the Jordan Cemetery on Saturday, September 9 at 2:00 PM. A social gathering will follow at his home.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Granite Falls and/or Robe Fire Departments and EMT Services.
