Alvin "Glen" Newkirk Sr., age 85 passed away on Friday, August 23, 2024. He was born in Naylor, MO on July 15, 1939 to the late Logan L. and Nellie L. (nee Barbre) Newkirk; beloved husband of Frances Newkirk (nee Hartmann); loving father of Alvin Glen Newkirk Jr., Sherry Lee (Phillip) Stevens and Robin Sue (Dennis) Coulson; loving grandfather of many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; dear brother of Anna Sue (Jesse Dwight) Pride; dear uncle and friend to many.
Glen was a member of the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Missouri and Kansas.
Visitation will be held on Friday August 30, 2024 from 10:00 am-1:00 pm at the Heiligtag-Lang-Funeral Home 1081 Jeffco Blvd. Arnold, MO 63010. Funeral service will be celebrated Friday 1:00 pm in the funeral home chapel. Interment Shepherd Hills Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations in Glen's Honor may be made to Make-A-Wish Foundation of Missouri and Kansas.
