Carl Joseph Schroeder, age 68, of St. Louis, Missouri passed away on Saturday, November 13, 2021. Carl was born July 15, 1953 in St. Louis, Missouri to the late Albert C. and Elizabeth (nee Horan) Schroeder; loving husband of the late Deborah Schroeder; loving father of Jennifer (Steven) Crump and Carrie (Jeff) Schroeder; dear grandfather of Zack, Thomas, Autumn, Madison, Tyler, Cheyenne and Haley; brother of Mark (and the late Patricia) Schroeder and the late Albert Schroeder Jr.
Carl ran a car dealership with his brother Al for many years. He enjoyed spending time with his family making memories whenever possible. Some of his favorite interests were bowling, going to the country, dancing, music, concerts, watching wrestling and The Three Stooges. Carl was a frequent flyer at his favorite restaurant Denny's, where everyone seemed to know his name. In addition, Carl was a proud veteran of the United States Marine Corp.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 21, 2021 from 4-8 pm at Heiligtag-Lang-Fendler Funeral Home, 1081 Jeffco Blvd., Arnold, MO 63010. Funeral service will be celebrated on Monday, November 22, 2021, 12:00 noon in the funeral home chapel with visitation Monday from 11:00 am until time of service. Interment National Cemetery, Jefferson Barracks, MO with full Military Honors. In lieu of flowers memorial donations in Carl's Honor may be made to the American Lung Association. www.lung.org
