David Lee Parks

David Lee Parks, age 78, of Arnold, Missouri passed away on Tuesday, February 6, 2024. David was born on May 11, 1945 in St. Louis, MO to the late Leroy and Mary Kathryn (nee Kelch) Parks; beloved husband of Linda L. Parks (nee Vogel); loving father of Craig (Lindsay) Parks, David (Michelle) Parks and Eileen Mares; loving grandfather of Isaac Parks, Jaedon Parks, Jase Parks, Karsten Parks, Rylan Parks, Benjamin Parks, Kristopher Parks, Brandy (Parks) Simpson, Christopher Parks and Angelo Mares; dear brother of Judi (Frank) Reihn, Michael (Tammy) Parks and Marty (Jim) Smith; dear uncle and friend to many.

David was a US Army Veteran and served during the Vietnam War, 1st Air Calvary-Company E, 2nd Battalion (Airmobile) 5th Calvary. He earned the Army Commendation Medal for Heroism and a Purple Heart.

A visitation for David will be held Friday, February 16, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Heiligtag-Lang-Fendler Funeral Home, 1081 Jeffco Blvd, Arnold, MO 63010. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 12:00 noon in funeral home chapel. Interment Shepherd Hills Cemetery, 1925 Old Highway M., Barnhart, MO 63012. with full Military Honors. Memorial donations in David's Honor may be made to the Alzheimer's Association 11433 Olde Cabin Rd. St. Louis, MO 63141.
