Doris Wilda Sparks

Wilda was preceded in death by her parents, her husband George Potts and Harry Sparks; daughter Vickie Herndon (nee Potts) and brothers Marvin Meyer and George Meyer.

Wilda is the loving mother to Steven (Mary) Potts and Sandra Burris; dearest grandmother to Tara Metzler, Jessica (Jesse) McDonald, Samantha Hall and Richard Hall; Cherished great grandmother to Ashley (Blaine) Mohart, Bree McDonald, Kevin Metzler and David Metzler; beloved great--great grandmother to Cooper Mohart, Quinn Mohart and Travis Mohart. A beloved aunt and friend that will be greatly missed.

Wilda loved to travel, visiting thrift stores and gardening. She never knew a stranger and loved to talk to people.

Visitation for Wilda will be held on Wednesday August 20, 2025 from 4-8 PM at Heiligtag-Lang-Fendler. Funeral Services will be Thursday August 21, 2025 at 10 AM at the funeral home. Interment to follow at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.
