Elsie Janet Dodd

Elsie Janet Dodd, age 95, of Herculaneum, Missouri passed away on Tuesday, November 30, 2021. Elsie was born March 22, 1926 in Rushtower, MO to the late Theodore and Iva (nee McCarty) Ware; beloved wife of the late Granville Dodd; loving mother of Larry (Diane) Dodd, Roger (and the late Diane) Dodd and the late Dennis Dodd; loving grandmother of Michelle Beer, Vicki Lantz, Ester (Jim) Sherlock, Melinda (Rob) Talcovitz and Stephan (Chas) Dodd; great grandmother of Scott and Doug Severn, Rachael and Michael Sherlock, Matthew, Hannah and Benjamin Talcovitz, Kabe and Kadi Dodd and Alicia (Joseph) Schaper; great great grandmother of Amelia and Addley Schaper; dear sister of Jean, Marie, Theodore Jr., Dot and the late Rene.

The family requests that you please dress in casual clothes and be comfortable, that's how Elsie would want it.

A visitation for Elsie will be held Thursday, December 16, 2021 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Heiligtag-Lang-Fendler Funeral Home, 1081 Jeffco Blvd., Arnold, MO 63010. A funeral service will take place Friday, December 17, 2021 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM, 1081 Jeffco Blvd, Arnold, MO 63010. The committal service will be on Friday, December 17, 2021 from 11:45 AM to 12:00 PM at Danby Cemetery, Festus, MO.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations in Elsie's Honor may be made to Open Door Sanctuary, 6065 Duda Rd., House Springs, MO 63051. No flowers please.
