Fred Lewis Brooks

Fred Lewis Brooks of Imperial, MO. passed away on Wednesday December 16, 2020. He was born in Ripley County, MO on September 18, 1935 to the late David Cecil and Lula (nee McDowell) Brooks; beloved husband of Luana Larson Brooks and the late Lucy Brooks; loving father of Vicky (Don) Williams of Festus, MO., Donna (Dave) Timpe of Overland Park, KS., Tanya (John) Banderman of Festus, MO. and the late Fred Lewis Jr.; loving grandfather of Steven Johnson, Jessica Mosley, David Williams, Whitney Williams, Alex Timpe, Sara Banderman and Chris Banderman; great grandfather of Taylor, Devin, Owen, Carson, Everly and River; great great grandfather of Colton; dear brother of Melba Strawn, Sue Watkins, Betty Fedke and the late Geneva Estes, Bud Brooks and Don Brooks; Fred is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

Fred was an avid sportsman, colorful story teller, and a life long Cardinals Fan. He loved spending time with family and friends. He will be remembered for his strong work ethic and sense of humor.
