

Glenn Edward Ziegelmeyer, 75 of Pevely, passed away on January 18, 2026. Ed devoted 30 years to Ardagh Glass, Inc. in Pevely before retiring and served as an Alderman for the city for nearly three decades, exemplifying his lifelong dedication to the community. He was an active member of the Festus-Crystal City Elks Lodge, the Joachim Masonic Lodge, and St. Luke's United Church of Christ in Imperial, Missouri. An avid outdoorsman, Ed enjoyed fishing, hunting, woodworking, and treasured every moment spent with his family and friends. Known for his warm smile and friendly wave, he brought joy to his neighborhood. Born on March 25, 1950, in Kimmswick, Missouri, he was the son of the late Emil and Dorothy Ziegelmeyer.
Ed is survived by his two daughters, Stacey (David) Miller of Pevely and Tonya (Ryan) Linderer of Festus; six grandchildren, Kinsey, Gracen, and Landon Miller, Lydia Leeka, Cohen, and Cash Linderer; his brother, Emil "Butch" (Terry) Ziegelmeyer; and his sister Patricia (the late Ray) Roberts.
He is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Karen (Lynch) Ziegelmeyer, as well as his parents, Emil and Dorothy (Hauck) Ziegelmeyer.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday January 31,2026 at the Festus -Crystal City Elks Lodge from 1-7 PM.
