Jerry L. Knox

Jerry L. Knox of Arnold, Missouri passed away on Tuesday, August 21, 2012 at the age of 72. Beloved husband of Tina Knox (nee Bean). Loving father of Loren (Judy) Knox, Melinda (Brad) Crow and Maureen (Scott) Vance. Dearest grandfather of Jessica Smith, Jerra Crow, Tanna Crow, Kaley Vance, Connor Vance, Amy Asaro and Steve Reinken and great grandfather of Cailyn Smith, Lily Reinken, Shealyn Reinken, Izabella Asaro, Anthony Asaro and Andrew Asaro. Dear brother of Carolyn Penny, Robert (Kathy) Knox, Judy Hartman, Jim (Janet) Knox and the late Betty Gaye Boyle and Johnny Knox. Dearest stepson of Wanda Knox. Dear son of the late Robert Devoe and Floy Gaye Knox (nee Angel). Our dear brother-in-law, uncle, great uncle, cousin and dear friend to many.

He was born November 20, 1939 in Harrison, Arkansas. Jerry graduated from Estherville High School Class of 1957 and attended The School Of Ozarks. He married Tina Bean November 16, 1960 and they settled in Arkansas City, KS. Jerry's career remained in the automotive business throughout his lifetime. After owning Concord Auto Parts for 25 years in St. Louis, he sold the business and partially retired to enjoy time with his family and outdoor activities. Jerry was an avid race fan, enjoyed working in his yard and cherished the friendships he aquired over the many years in business.

Graveside service to be held at Shepherd Hills Cemetery, Barnhart, Missouri on Saturday, August 25, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. Should friends desire, contributions to the American Diabetes Association or the National Stroke Association appreciated.
