Mark Twain Duchow, age 79 of Imperial, MO passed away on Sunday, August 24, 2025. He was born in Tonasket, WA on November 25, 1945 to the late Marcus and Dorothea (nee Klotsch) Duchow; beloved husband of Jane Duchow; loving father of Dawn (Vincent) Port and Michelle Pettit; loving grandfather of Clayton (Melanie) Port, Joel (Haley) Port, Faith Port, Grace Port, Hannah Port, John Port, Elizabeth Port, Rachel Port, Pearl Pettit and Rose Pettit; Great grandfather of James, Benjamin and Leah Port; dear brother of Joyce Gierke, James Duchow and the late Floyd Duchow, Rose Wendt, June Ring and George Duchow; dear uncle and friend to many.
Mark was a member of the Soaring Spirit Prison Ministry, Feed My People and was a leader in his church and was known for his beautiful singing voice.
A visitation for Mark will be held Wednesday, September 3, 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Heiligtag-Lang-Fendler Funeral Home, 1081 Jeffco Blvd, Arnold, MO 63010 and visitation Thursday, September 4, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Bethesda Evangelical Church, 85 Lemay Gardens Dr, Lemay, MO 63125. A funeral service will follow the visitation Thursday, September 4, 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, at Bethesda Evangelical Church. Interment Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, 2900 Sheridan Rd, St. Louis, MO 63125. Memorial donations in Mark's Honor may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, American Cancer Society or to Feed My People.
