Richard E. Watkins

Richard E. Watkins, age 86, of French Village, Missouri passed away on Saturday, September 25, 2021. Richard was born June 8, 1935 in St. Louis, MO to the late Bob and Lorean Watkins; beloved husband of the late Martha EstaLee Watkins; loving father of Carl Watkins, Carolyn Henderson and the late Richard L. Watkins, Ray Watkins, Tony Watkins and Rhonda Dunham; loving grandfather of Tony Watkins, Jennifer Watkins, Jeremy Dunham, Josh Dunham, Katie Iverson, Matthew Watkins, Corey Robison, Kayleigh Jackson, Kyle Watkins, Keith Watkins and the late Nicole Robison; dear great grandfather of 15 and 1 deceased great grandchild; dear brother of Geraldine Kennon and the late Bobby Watkins, Johnny Watkins and Dora Mae Davis; dear uncle, cousin and friend to many.

Richard was a man of many talents. His family meant everything to him! He was a carpenter by trade and a member of the Carpenters Union. He was a member of Goose Creek Baptist Church which he lovingly built for his wife.

A visitation for Richard will be held Thursday, September 30, 2021 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Heiligtag-Lang-Fendler Funeral Home, 1081 Jeffco Blvd, Arnold, MO 63010. Funeral service will be Friday, October 1, 2021, 11:00 am in the funeral home chapel. Interment Shepherd Hills Cemetery, Barnhart, MO.
