
SCHWARZ, Robert William "Bob":: It is with deep and heavy sadness that we announce the passing of Robert "Bob" Schwarz, 73, of Arnold, MO, who passed away on September 19, 2014 at his home. Bob was born in Neoga, Illinois on December 24, 1940 but took care of his wife and raised his children in Arnold. Bob is survived by his wife of 50 years, Photene "Frances" Schwarz; his mother Marie Schwarz; and a brother Roy Schwarz of Union, MO. Bob was a proud father and is survived by his three daughters; Tina Akers and her husband Leo of Salina, KS., Julie Julian and her husband Dave of Fenton, MO. and Bobbi Lynn Schwarz of Arnold, MO. He was the grandfather of 10 and great grandfather of 2.
Bob was a retired Veteran's Administration Radiology Technologist, a member of St. John's Lutheran Church of Arnold, a proud supporter of numerous charitable and patriotic organizations. As a younger man, he was very active in the Arnold Khoury League as President, but he was most proud of and remembered as the softball manager and couch for his girls and many other in the Arnold area.
Funeral service will held on Saturday, September 27, 2014, 1:00 p.m. at St. John Lutheran in Arnold, Missouri. Visitation at the Church Saturday from 11:00 a.m. until time of service. Burial will be held at a later date in Neoga Memorial Cemetery, Neoga, Ill.
