Roy C. Nelson Sr.

Roy C. Nelson Sr. of Hillsboro, MO. passed away on Saturday, February 9, 2019. loving husband of the late Carol Nelson; dear father of Susan Culp, Roy (Sandra) Nelson Jr. and Charles "Doug" (Jackie) Nelson; dear grandfather of 8 and great grandfather of 3.

He was the brother of Amy Sullivan, Helen Acord and Anne Truelove; dear grandfather of 8 and great grandfather of 3. He was the son of the late Roy and Lena (nee Snider) Nelson; he also was preceded in death by 3 sisters.

Roy worked as an electrician in the construction industry and proudly served his country in the US Navy.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 13, 2019 from 4-8 pm at Heiligtag-Lang-Fendler Funeral Home, 1081 Jeffco Blvd., Arnold, MO. Funeral service will be celebrated on Thursday, February 14, 2019, 11:00 am at the funeral home Chapel. Interment Shepherd Hills Cemetery with Full Military Honors.
