Tom worked most of his life as a projectionist for several different theaters. Tom enjoyed movies and film almost as much as he enjoyed an ice cold beer. Throughout his life Tom had a handful of different career changes, but he always wound up back working with film.
Tom had many different hobbies throughout his life, from movie and poster collecting, to model trains and pencil sketching. Tom loved art, animals, and the outdoors. Tom was a man of culture, he loved trying new food, and he loved to cook many different homemade meals with his family. Tom was a big fan of all local sport teams. Football Sunday was Tom's favorite day. Tom loved his family and friends dearly.
He is survived by his mother, Billie (Hicks) Moore; one daughter and two sons, Kristen (Moore) DeRousse, Thomas Moore III, and Erik Moore; two siblings, Sherry Foote and Eric Moore; and one granddaughter, Isabelle Butler. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Thomas Moore Sr. and brother Ronald “Ron” Wilson.
A celebration of life will be held from Noon- 2pm Sunday, August 22, 2021 at Heiligtag-Lang-Fendler Funeral Home, 1081 Jeffco Blvd., Arnold, MO 63010.
