Was sad to hear Aunt Virgie has left us. 
We miss all of our loved ones who has left before us and Aunt Virgie is no exception. I loved talking with her when she came to Big Flat for Homecoming. She had some good stories and I was always ready for a story.

To Susan & family:  I have so many special memories of Aunt Virgie and have even written stories about her.  To me, she was a lady through and through.  She and Uncle Sylvester raised a beautiful daughter who is just the very best, a dear friend and my cousin as well.  Aunt Virgie was kind, loving and generous.  She never forgot her family and came to Arkansas year after year to see them. I have admired her for as long as I can remember.  Some of my fondest memories are listening to her tell stories about her youth and she would laugh, which in turn made us laugh.  May you be in the arms of "Bill" and our heavenly Father.  I will love you forever.  To the family I am sorry for your loss but keep those memories alive with her pictures and the stories that she loved to tell. All of  her nieces and nephews enjoyed in their younger years Aunt Virgie taking us to the park, roller skating and to Vacation Bible School .  I loved taking to Aunt Virgie on Saturdays we would talk, laugh and pray.  We had like faith.  After Uncle Bill died we tried to talk every Saturday and even the Saturday before she joined Uncle Bill,  I was blessed to hear her laughing and sharing about how much she had prayed for my son Caleb when he was little. She teased that they  were getting married on her July 7th because it was her birthday. Now that will be a special memory for Caleb.  I will miss our conversations.  Today, here in California we are having our Memorial Service for Aunt Virgie and remembering both her and Uncle Bill. Our thoughts prayers continue to be with Susan, Scott, Jeff and the Wilson Family. Carol (Doan) Linden

Susan and Family,
We were so sorry to hear of Virgie's passing.  You know that we loved her very much.  We have a lot of good memories of her and the life she lived.  One of my fond memories was going to Abilene, Tx. and sharing a room with her and Pearl and Joy McGuire.  What a trip we had!!  Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you.  Sid and Sue Hollis
