Virginia F. "Jean" Bodenburg, age 84, of Arnold, Missouri passed away on Saturday, May 10, 2025. Daughter of the late Francis G. and Helen De Gonia; Jean is survived by her partner Edward Roe. Sister Linda (Steve) Edwards and her brother Len (Linda) De Gonia and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Richard Bodenburg.
Jean was a graduate of the 1960 class of Cleveland High School. After high school she began a 20 year working career holding several positions with Ameren UE. She met her future husband Richard Bodenburg at Ameren.
She was an accomplished artist and profound animal lover volunteering at many animal shelters in the St. Louis area. She will enjoy being reunited with Richard and her many pets.
A visitation for Virginia will be held Tuesday, May 20, 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Heiligtag-Lang-Fendler Funeral Home, 1081 Jeffco Blvd, Arnold, MO 63010. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Jean's Honor to the St. Louis Humane Society will be appreciated.
