It's been a year now and I miss you more each day.  Love You, Helen

He was the happiest man all the time, never saw him without a smile.  I consider myself blessed to have known him.

Where do I start? Butch was a one-of-a-kind guy. Every single day, without fail, he would come in with a smile on his face. I would say, "Hiya Butch!" and he would reply, "How ya doin Ash?!" and he would smile that big ol smile and no matter what kind of day you were having, he just made you feel better. He had that affect on you. He was so kind hearted, so caring, so loving. The loved he had and showed for Helen, his kids and grandkids was immeasurable. He will be missed so very much. By me especially, since I just recently found out what he thought of me. It was something I never knew and means more to me than I could ever express. Butch had that way of making you feel special and like you were worth something. And for that, I will be eternally grateful to him. I only wish that one day I end up being half as happy as he always was. I hope to love and be loved in the way he did and was. Helen, love, know that he loved you more than you will ever know. I know this just by the look he had in his eyes when we would talk about you. I hope I find a love like that one day. I look up to you guys so much. I envy the love and life you two had together. Helen, I haven't forgotten you since you left and I will not forget Butch either. You have both touched my life and made me feel like I was actually worth something. That is one of the best gifts you could ever give anyone. And I was lucky enough to receive it from the both of you. I know Butch is watching over you and is now your Guardian Angel. He loves you too much not to be. Please know, you will always have a friend in me. I pray for you, I think of you and I love you and Butch and always will. Thank you for the opportunity to let me call you both friends. I will miss him greatly but I know he's up there looking down from his fishin spot with that big ol smile on his face that we all know and love, watching over us and loving every minute of it. I love you Butch, thank you for making me feel like I mattered. And Helen, I love you as well. If you ever need anything, I'm here. Tim , Deb, Katy, Helen, and, family- I was so sorry to hear of the loss of this wonderful man.  Although we know he is in a better place...I KNOW YOU WERE NOT READY TO SEND HIM THERE!!  May God Bless and Comfort you all at this sad time.  You will be in my thoughts and prayers~~~
