Betty Ann Heeter

She was born October 22, 1933, to Howard and Verna (Ramsier) Allen. Betty was a longtime member of the United Methodist Church in West Salem, as well as the Red Hat Society in Medina. For many years, Betty served as an Optometrist Assistant to Dr. J. A. Wright in West Salem, where she was known for her dedication and care.

Betty loved adventure and embraced life with enthusiasm. She found joy in gardening, traveling, and spending time with her family. Known fondly by everyone as “Aunt Bet,” she was cherished for her warm spirit, zest for life, and the genuine enjoyment she took in each day.

She is survived by her children, Ramona “Mona” Allison, Thomas Allison, and Laura Allison; her siblings, Doris Boreman, Wilma Miller, and Robert Allen; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Paul Allison; her second husband, Robert Heeter; her siblings, Walter Allen, Pauline Faulkner, Jean Roberts, Barbara Heilman, and Dorothy Archer; her nephews, John Archer and Donald Eagle; and her best friend, Eloise Toth.

In accordance with Betty’s wishes no services will be held.
