Allen "Gator" Gates Davis

Allen "Gator" Gates Davis, age 65, of Hanover, Virginia passed away on Monday, October 25, 2021. He was preceded in death by his mother, Virginia R. Creech; and his sister, Peggy L. Bogar. Allen spent many years working as a mechanic. He was also a faithful parishioner of Hunton Baptist Church in Glen Allen, VA. Left to cherish his memory is his significant other, Carole Donovan; 4 children, Becky, Bubba, Katie, Allen Jr.; sisters, Marie Gori (Dan) and Debbie Stanley (Wayne); and many nieces, nephews, grandchildren and friends. Due to unforeseen circumstances the service will be moved to a graveside service at 1:00pm on Monday, November 1, 2021 at Kenwood United Methodist Church Cemetery, 11208 Elmont Rd, Ashland, VA 23005.
