Andrew Wayne Sharpe

SHARPE Sr., Andrew "Wayne", 59, of Louisa, passed peacefully on April 4, 2019, he was surrounded by his family. He is preceded in death by his son Charles Allen Sharpe, his father Lenwood Sharpe Sr., his sister Linda Short, his bestfriend Larry Bryant, and many others. He leaves behind his wife Brenda of 37 years, his children Cindy (Drew), Tina, Andrew Jr., Danielle, Lillie (Cory), and Ashley; his mother, Martha; his sisters, Diana (John) and Irene (Ricky); his brothers, Lenwood Jr. (Susie) and Johnny; his best friend, Kenny Blot; and last but not least his beloved 14 grandchildren who knew him as "papdaddy". Wayne was a jack-of-all-trades, he could go from building an entire house with his hands to managing an office full of "idiots" (as he called them) and make it look easy. There's nothing he couldn't do. The family will receive friends from 6:00pm to 8:00pm on Monday, April 8, 2019 and 6:00pm to 8:00pm on Tuesday, April 9, 2019 at Nelsen Funeral Home, 412 S. Washington Hwy., Ashland, VA. The funeral service will be at 11:00am on Wednesday, April 10, 2019 at Hanover Baptist Church, 11239 Cedar Ln., Glen Allen, VA with a graveside service to follow at Kenwood United Methodist Church Cemetery, 11208 Elmont Rd., Ashland, VA.
