Beverly Jean Dalton

She was preceded in death by her husband, Stuart Dalton; her Mother and Father, Jean and Bubba Warriner; her father, Bill Poole; and her Sister, Barbara Sirles.

She is survived by her Bonus Mom, Madeline Poole; her Sons, Tim Dalton (Kelley), Dean Dalton (Heather), Lee Dalton, and Dustin Bradbury; Daughters, Ronda Wright (Benny), and Penny Bane (Greg); fifteen grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and her Siblings John Poole, Jo Ann Emerson and Johnny Loan.

Mrs. Dalton was formerly employed as a nursing assistant with Health South. She was also a member of Beaverdam Baptist Church. She was known for her witty jokes (sometimes R-rated), her love of cooking, her natural crafting abilities and her instinct to take care of others. She was a caregiver most all her life, whether it was working as a CNA, caring for sick family and friends, or taking in a troubled teen. Her caring spirit will be truly missed.

The family will receive friends and family from 6-8PM on Saturday, April 30, 2022 at Nelsen Funeral Home, 412 S Washington Highway, Ashland, VA 23005. A Funeral service will be held at 12pm on Sunday, May 1 2022 at Nelsen Funeral Home, with interment to follow at the Dalton Family Cemetery located in Bumpass, VA.
