Bruce E. Childress

Bruce E. Childress, 69, of Ashland, passed away on Tuesday, April 16, 2024. He was preceded in death by his parents. Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Deborah Childress; brother, John Childress; mother-in-law; sister-in-law; two nephews; half-sister; and five step-sisters. The family will receive friends on Thursday, April 25, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Nelsen Funeral Home - Reid Chapel, 412 S. Washington Hwy., Ashland, Va. 23005. A graveside service will be held on Friday, April 26, at 2 p.m. in Signal Hill Memorial Park, 12360 Hanover Courthouse Rd., Hanover, Va. 23069. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
