He was preceded in death by his mother, Elizabeth Person; father, Kenneth Mallory; dad, Edward Person; brothers, Kenny Mallory, Wayne Mallory; and two infant sons.
Clyde served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War and worked for Froehling & Robertson for 50 years. He enjoyed working in his garage and tending to his vegetable garden. Clyde was dedicated to his family and was the best husband, father, and grandfather.
Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 52 years, Judith W. Mallory; children, Stephanie Wynn (Pete), Sean Mallory (Amanda); grandchildren, William Wynn (Samantha), Travis Wynn (Taylor), Riley “Baby Duck” Wynn; great grandson, Jaxon (due May 2023); devoted sister, Marilyn Trivett and brother-in-law, Steve; cherished friends, Sidney & Mrs. Tea Thompson; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.

A visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, March 16, at Nelsen Funeral Home, 412 S. Washington Hwy., Ashland, Va. 23005, where a funeral service will be held on Friday, March 17, at 2 p.m. Interment will follow in Woodland Cemetery.
