Sale, David Evan, 19, of Doswell, passed away on January 1, 2014. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Irene Holbrook. He is survived by his parents, David and Vickie Sale; brother, Ryan Sale; grandparents, Danny Holbrook and Lacy and Ruth Sale; aunts and uncles, Mike and Cheryl Sale, Robbie and Cheryl Holbrook; and several cousins.
Evan was studying Culinary Arts at Johnson and Wales University in Charlotte, NC. He was a member of Boy Scout Troop 706 and loved hunting and camping. Evan was formerly on the varsity lacrosse team at Patrick Henry High School. The family will receive friends from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. on Sunday, January 5, 2014 at the Nelsen Funeral Home, Reid Chapel, 412 S. Washington Hwy, Ashland, VA where services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, January 6, 2014. Interment will be at Signal Hill Memorial Park.
