DAVIS, James Keith, 58, of Ruther Glen, passed away peacefully at home on February 14, 2017. He is survived by his wife and the love of his life of 32 years this May, Sheila; his parents, James C. and Polly Davis of Bumpass; brothers, Mike Davis of Bumpass and Steve Davis of Spring Branch, Texas; his five children, Monica Davis, Jessica Davis (D.J. Mastin), Kendall Davis (Nick Rogers), Shelby Davis, and James “JED” Davis, all of Ruther Glen; his faithful and loyal furry son, Cody; his three grandchildren, David, Alexander, and Elizabeth; and a host of extended family and friends. James was a Journeyman Electrician for 38 years, most recently with the I.B.E.W. Local 26. He was a member of the Caroline and Ashland Moose Lodges for many years. The family will receive friends from 1 to 3 p.m. on Saturday, February 18, 2017 at the Nelsen Funeral Home, Reid Chapel, 412 S. Washington Hwy., Ashland, VA, where a memorial service will take place at 3 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial donations be made to VCU Massey Cancer Center, P.O.
