Jay Lester Frey Jr., age 75, of Ashland, Virginia went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, May 25, 2025. Jay was born on November 22nd 1949 in Elizabethtown, PA, to the late Jay Frey, Sr., and Naomi A. Geist.
Jay dedicated 20 years of service to the United States Air Force.
Jay loved spending time outdoors bird watching, attending church services at Trinity Lutheran/Holy Cross Church. Most of all Jay loved spending quality time with his friends and family.
Jay is survived by his loving companion Evelyn Dotson; his devoted children Brian (Ashley) Frey, and Jessica Frey; cherished grandchildren Jasmine, Bubby, Hunter, Gabe and Riley; one sister Rosemary O'Donnell, one aunt Jean Geist, and best friend Wilton Parrish.
Services will be private.
