Karen is survived by her loving and devoted spouse, Francis A. Marotto, her son, Anthony F. (Faith K) Marotto, daughter, Mary M. Marotto, grandchildren, Jordan Hunter, Hanna Marotto and Katie Marotto.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Margaret and James Beane, her sister, Patricia Nicholson and aunts, Irene Toth and Theresa Toth.
Karen was a retired employee of the Internal Revenue Service and a member of St. Ann's Catholic Church in Ashland, VA.
Relatives and friends are invited to Karen's visitation on Wednesday, May 28, 2025 from 6-8 PM at Nelsen Funeral Home Reid Chapel, 412 S. Washington Hwy., Ashland, VA 23005. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Thursday, May 29, 2025 at 9:30 AM at St Ann's Catholic Church, 105 S Snead St, Ashland, VA 23005. Interment will follow at Signal Hill Memorial Park, 12360 Hanover Courthouse Rd, Hanover, VA 23069.
