Pamela “Pam” Sadler Mallory, of Mechanicsville, was a caring wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She went to her heavenly home on Friday, February 4, 2022, at the age of 66. She was preceded in death by her parents, Rudolph “Rudy” Sadler and Opal Glendyne Preece Sadler, and her beloved brother, Stephen “Steve” Sadler.
She survived by her loving and devoted husband of 22 years, Frank “Woody” Mallory; daughter, Amy Parry and her husband, Nathan; grandchildren, Luke and Carleigh; sister, Debbie Caywood; brothers, David Sadler (Janice), James “Jimmy” Sadler, Jonathan Sadler (Doti); and many cherished nieces and nephews.
Pam touched every person that she ever met and took it upon herself that everyone had what they needed before the needs of her own. Her family was her treasure, and she was legendary for her love and laughter. Her smile could light up a room. If she wasn't in her hometown, that she loved, she was probably at the Outer Banks or the mountains with Woody and family. She was the inspiration for many vacations and holiday gatherings. Her elaborate Christmas decorations brought joy to many.
The family will receive friends from 12:30pm to 1:30pm on Friday, February 18, 2022 at Nelsen Funeral Home, 412 S Washington Hwy., Ashland, Va 23005 where a funeral service will begin at 1:30pm. Interment will follow at Signal Hill Memorial Park, 12360 Hanover Courthouse Rd., Hanover, Va 23069.
