Only recently found out about Mike's passing. So sorry for your loss! Don't know if you remember us....Clay and Marnie Bowman. While we left your fellowship under strained conditions, we were always appreciative of the things we learned from Mike. We pray that God has been extra tender with you as you move forward. His grace and love endures forever! Joy comes in the morning!

Carolyn   If you can remember us, we use to live behind Virginia and Gordon in Montplier.  I am writing this with such grief that I feel like crying.  We moved due to the age of my mom and dad and they needed me.  Since then I have lost my mom, dad, sister, brother and My heart is still grieving.  Please know that I loved you and Mike and I should have put the Word first but I did not.  I felt my family needed me.  Hope all is well   

We remember the happy days working together at Golden Skillet Corporation.  Our sympathy goes out to the family.

He was predeceased by his parents C.W. Guthrie, Sr. and Mary Brown Guthrie; a sister, Dorothy Ann Causey; brothers, C.W. Guthrie, Jr., Charles E. Guthrie and Joseph F Guthrie. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 53 years, Carolyn F. Guthrie;  children, Stacey (Steve) Condrey,  Michael Brett (Marci) Guthrie and Jenny (Peter) Garlick; and brothers James B. Guthrie and Edward B. Guthrie.
