Pricilla Gale Hammock Scruggs

Pricilla Gale H. Scruggs, 71, of Ashland, passed away on August 28, 2017. She was born on June 30, 1946 to the late Willie and Emma Hammock. Pricilla was preceded in death by her sister, Martha Ann and brothers, Ronnie and Kevin Hammock. She was a devoted employee of GE, Best Products, and QuibicaAMF. She loved animals and supported the rescue initiatives of Best Friends Animal Society. Pricilla is survived her husband, E. W. "Bill" Scruggs; brothers, Billy Hammock (Sue) and Warren Hammock (Liz); special nephew, Warren Jr., nieces, Linda and Cathy; cousins, Glenda (Ray), Polly, beloved dogs, Sassy, Bandit, and Jake, as well as her special friends and neighbors. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, August 30, 2017 from 4-6 PM at Nelsen Funeral Home & Crematory - Reid Chapel, 412 S. Washington Highway, Ashland, VA 23005, where a funeral service will be held on Thursday, August 31, 2017 at 11 AM. Interment will follow in Signal Hill Memorial Park.
