CASSELL, Robert Franklin “Frank”, 83, of Ashland, passed away on September 1, 2015. He was preceded in death by his parents, Estelle and Payton Cassell and his brother, William S. Cassell. He is survived by his wife, Marie L. Cassell; sisters, Mary Lee Cassell Musulin (Steve Jr.) and Hannah Cassell Anderson (Frank). Frank was retired from Crawford Manufacturing. He was a member of First Baptist Church, Ashland where he was a Deacon and a Sunday school teacher. The family will receive friends from 6-8pm on Thursday, September 3, 2015 at First Baptist Church, Ashland, 800 Thompson St., Ashland, VA 23005, where a service will be held at 2pm on Friday, September 4, 2015. Interment will be in Woodland Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please make memorial contributions to First Baptist Church Building Fund or the Bon Secour Hospice.
