HALL, Ruth Christine, 69, of Beaverdam, died peacefully in her sleep on December 23, 2015. She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Mary Harper and her sister, Mary Moran. She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Joe Ben Hall; children, Rebecca Byiers, Shirley Price (Phil), Joseph Hall (Rose), David Hall (Linda) and Brenda Hall; 11 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; brother, Richard Harper (Sherry); sister, Jody Matthews (Irvin); extended family and many friends. Ruth was a dedicated Hanover County school bus driver for 38 years. She was a member of Oak Grove Wesleyan Church in Montpelier, VA. The family will receive friends from 2-4pm and 6-8pm on Saturday, December 26, 2015 and Sunday, December 27th from 6-8pm at the Nelsen Funeral Home, Reid Chapel, 412 S. Washington Hwy., Ashland, VA 23005. A service will take place at 11am on Monday, December 28, 2015 at Oak Grove Wesleyan Church, 16354 Woodman Hall Rd., Montpelier, VA.
