Evans, Scott Lephay, 56, of Ashland, passed away on December 1, 2013. He was preceded in death by his mother, Joan Evans. He is survived by his father, L. Mims Evans; daughter, Lauren Evans; sisters, Robin Evans and Tracy Harrison; three nieces, Sara, Raleigh, Denise; nephew, Josh; and many other family members and friends. Scott enjoyed wood carving and music. The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 7, 2013 at First Baptist Church Ashland, 800 Thompson St., Ashland, VA, where a service will follow at 3:00 p.m. Interment will be private.
